April 13 I started my journey to Germany at Steiger International. I was one of the first volunteers and we started right away knowing that the mission school would start April 27.  We had a health inspection and a living inspection that we needed to pass before the school started and if we did not….we would have to close the school.  With our team working hard for 2 weeks and lots of prayer we thankfully passed. Also during this, we took time to be intentional with team bonding. 8 different countries represented, 17 volunteers, and having the same heart and mission was a recipe for success or disaster.  Thankfully it is beyond successful! Every night I think about how our team is such a support to each other and what it is a picture of being the body of Christ.

We are commemorating Jasmine Swope this week. She has served in Thailand as a missionary for several years and now she is transitioning from a field leader to one who will be coordinating missionary-trainees preparing for the field.

I hope this finds you well!

Here in Ubon it is starting to get warm again and so we are looking forward to the hot season,  if only because that's when we will get to meet our baby!

The last couple of months we have been taking care of Tee, an eight year old boy on the weekends as part of our work with the Light Center. Although at times it's been hard having this on our plate on top of the other responsibilities we have,  it's really been a privilege for us to get to be there for him in his time of need.  We are so glad God put him in our life for this time,  please pray with us that we would be able to provide everything that he needs in order to move forward in his situation safely and healthily and that the people in charge of his case would have the wisdom and resources to care for him well and make good decisions on his behalf.
