Ray Muckuk has been working or should I say walking, on the Longest Walk. The Longest Walk is used to raise awareness of Native American issues specifically, domestic violence and abuse. Ray has just completed his 5th walk since 2014 and he is working more in a trainer capacity helping others who are running for the first time. Ray's longing is to see the gospel brought to the various tribes and for radical salvation. Coming to know Christ at Christian detox and rehabilitation center, he went through some rough wrestling with the Lord before he chose to follow Christ. He went through a hard struggle and it wasn't until the last week of his rehab that Christ broke through and brought peace into his life. Many times Ray has been given the opportunity to speak and share his testimony with various churches along the way, and each time he just prays that Christ is glorified and that somehow the Holy Spirit uses him to bring light into the darkness. The fire of the Holy Spirit within him rages as he has run from state to state, standing up against the substance and domestic abuse that has been running rampant unchallenged and unchecked. Pray for him to be strengthened in the Lord as he labors. "I used to tell young preachers, in order to preach you've got to have the power of God on your life. Now I tell them, in order to tie your shoes you've got to have the power of God on your life.”
